[Layout] 3 Lane AB - Tommer - 2012-10-06 19:48 Hiya Just a layout I endeavored to make, you know me. The designs a 3 Lane AB that runs in a single direction, the idea is that with 3 lanes there's space to avoid crashed cars. When testing this layout it occured to me that actually the middle lane may be more appropriate for the fast lane seeing as there is no interference from junctions and no barriers to hit on either side for the most part. Took a while to make because I had to measure out the barriers on the unmarked bit using chalk lines but was worth it Give it a try, edit it, use it, do what you want with it, Just thought i'd share e: Preview RE: [Layout] 3 Lane AB - Rasmus - 2012-10-06 20:12 Can u post pictures ? Our you can make a small video, cuz i cba to download and that shizz.. RE: [Layout] 3 Lane AB - Bez - 2012-10-07 01:45 I like the idea Tommer. Maybe you could add spots on the left for people to stop? like layby's? Then police could pull people over into them? RE: [Layout] 3 Lane AB - Cola - 2012-10-07 11:49 Okay, I tried it now, and I think it's alright, but I like the current one on TC alot better. And that's for the simple reason that this layout hasn't got a two-way AB. It's just the same way around over and over again. Also I think noobs are gonne be all over the three lanes. - Another thing, is that the junction where there is a roundabout in the current layout, is way too confusing in this one imo. It has got to be straight forward, and easy to figure out for everyone. RE: [Layout] 3 Lane AB - Rasmus - 2012-10-07 11:54 (2012-10-07 01:45)Bez Wrote: I like the idea Tommer. I considered this but there are object restrictions, I left a few objects spare incase someone wanted to add some slow-down barriers to SZ2 but feel free to edit it to your liking RE: [Layout] 3 Lane AB - NVK - 2012-10-07 12:44 (2012-10-07 11:44)Tommer Wrote: Layout Preview - The abridged version now in first post, complete with high pitch tyre squeals. ZOMG!! ROFMLAO - literally.. No, i seriously can't take that video in a seriously manner, and watching it from a "i see what you did there" perspective. Don't ask me why, but that speed-up is just hilarious! Also, is it just me... or are you actually honking around? Some folk can barely manage 2. (yes, I mean myself) |
