I am not sure whether it is possible to do it on all the joystick's though. I know for a fact though, that a lot of wheel users are using the joystick as a handbrake. Using it as a sequential shifter should be quite easy to do, but H-shifter pattern, could be a bit hard to do, if it is possible on all the joystick's at all. It configures itself to keyboard keys, took my a while to figure out actually, but now it works just fine after configuring every possible zone to suit me, including the springs.
