Joystick and Wheel in LFS - Chill . - 2012-12-12 17:11

Hai !
The question is can I use Wheel (Acme racing wheel) and Joystick(Joystick Force 3D Pro, Logitech) in same time ?
Like:Wheel + Joystick for Shifter .
Thanks , Chill.

I'm not sure if you could use it as a shifter. But you can use them both together yes

I am pretty sure, that i have already heard about people using the joystick, as a shifter. I am not sure whether it is possible to do it on all the joystick's though.

I know for a fact though, that a lot of wheel users are using the joystick as a handbrake. Using it as a sequential shifter should be quite easy to do, but H-shifter pattern, could be a bit hard to do, if it is possible on all the joystick's at all.

I've recently had a lot of fun using my joystick as a shifter, I use FFShifter, yes ForceFeedback as it locks the stick in place, like a shifter. It configures itself to keyboard keys, took my a while to figure out actually, but now it works just fine after configuring every possible zone to suit me, including the springs.
