Yet another wheel issue. - Shino - 2012-12-14 21:39

Hey, Got back from my dinner tonight and I went into a drift, my wheel all of a sudden starts making a clocking noise, or rather a clunking noise every time I turn my wheel to the right, I have no idea whats causing it or how to resolve it?

Any suggestion's would be appreciated -That dont involve taking apart the wheel, I want my guarentee.

i had a similar thing with my old g27, but it was only 1 clunk, also when turning right.
but this sounds like something became lose.
i think i know why it's only in 1 direction:
the g27 has, unlike the g25, toothed wheels which are "helical cut" (hope this is correctly translated)... means the teeth on the wheel aren't straigh over it. so in 1 direction it sounds different than in the other one.

how old is the wheel?

The wheel is 1 week old, but it's fine now, I gave it an almighty whack and it seems to be fine at the moment, i'll post back here if it plays up again.

Thanks
