There were a lot of setbacks too (missing tools, broken tools, crappy tools, had to get the new CV joint boot etc). For example I bent one ratchet, another ratchet went into two pieces and also one of the bolts snapped. 10-20 year old bolts have really rusted together...

Work continues... This is what was needed to open the driver side hub nut. It's the one I hadn't opened myself so it had rusted a lot. A lot of WD-40, a 1,5 meter pole and my dad. I calculated that the torque we used topped at around 490 newton meters. (The nut should be tightened to about 245.)

A lot of other bolts were tight too.. Really tight. Another "self locking bolt" had to be drilled out. Those bolts have horizontal grooves and then a screw at the end... With a lot of rust and time it had practically become one with the damper fork it was holding.

New rims on the car now Biggrin

Front lights only tinted to blue colour, gonna have new rims on soon. I cleaned the car yesterday to, And i am gonna keep the car this year to next car inspector i hope.
