Thanks. And yes the trunk door is opened via a button switch that is attached to a small motor that only just opens the trunk, then the rest with the hand.Tongue

Also got some new filters.

Oh yummy, potato salad!

Never mind, that's one cool police car there. Smile

RE: Jimmy and Blades cars! (Some others aswell) - Johan. - 2014-04-29 15:49

Thats a cool cop car. Biggrin

Anyway, neighbour needed some help.. Sooo he let me howl' a trailer behind the car packed with (50y/o) reed from his roof. Dusty job, that is. Having a trailer on my arse is also the very first time, since yesterday. And I already had compliments from a random woman that my driving ability in reverse with a trailer is just fantastic (while she couldn't reverse-park her car + trailer elsewhere). She also mentioned that she had her trailer-license for 12 years. So I replied with.. Well.... Erhh... I started driving with a trailer yesterday.

A shame I can't (legally) take my (other) neighbour's bigger trailer. Also double axles, but I think atleast 2m longer and 1m wider (50cm both sides)

Edit: thats interesting.. Just read up on the law of needed licenses to tow a trailer. Before the end of 2013, you were able to tow anything <750kg. Seems that they changed it to, if you have a driverslicense, you can tow anything as long as the car + trailer combination doesn't exceed 3500kg.

Guess I'm taking out the bigger trailer Thursday. Biggrin

RE: Jimmy and Blades cars! (Some others aswell) - Leon - 2014-04-29 16:24

Don't want to bust your bubble, Johan, but double axled trailers are easy peasy to reverse with. Try a short, single axled one and the frustration will make you cry. Also, are you sure that the law doesn't dictate that the car + trailers combined gross weight needs to be less than 3500kg? That's a fairly common thing in Europe.
