That is correct. And the lights are coloured the way the originally are to make it clear (pun not intended) for everyone which way a certain car is facing (clear white-ish light for front and very obvious red for the rear)

Of course you can achieve that effect with coloured bulbs but still... It doesn't really even look good so what's the point W00t

I use colored LED bulbs behind them either way!

Got my golf back! Turns out I destroyed the 5th gear synchro and the mechanics understood why. He said new cars use cable linkages versus the old mechanical I'm used to so I can't shift in the way in used to. He said don't do it again or VWoA will be breathing down my neck because it's modified!

"Too fast" lol in the golf there are 4-6 parts that actually have to move before the actual sleeve in the gearbox totally selects the gear 5th gear has to travel the longest distance of any gear has to travel. It's one of those dumb you have to see it to really understand it things.

I hit an animal last night in the poor thing. It just can't catch a break lol
