I bought another one..... I'm the third owner, no real issues, bought it for a summer fun. Going to put on a new top, do a minor bay shave then just drive it!

Correct, the Bolas have been used on time attack cars for a few years and are growing in popularity so I'm not to concerned about quality

The TE37 are about 4 times the price and have less concave

That cabrio is lovely. But... I thought you were supposed to go with less cars, not more Rolleyes this is better though

The TE37SL's are a bit more than that and have more concave Thumbup
But yeah, the replicas work just fine for most purposes.

I was trying to not buy another car, but you know how that goes. This came up for a steal (Worth about $2700USD, snagged it for $1,000 with extra parts/pieces). I guess I'll never get away from these Mk1s lol. This one will be a fun little summer car, then an easy flip. Or my other idea is I can be a nice son and give it to my mom. She wants a little convertible for the summer and had one of these in the late 80s.

Almost there. This thursday I'll have the theory test, the thursday after I'll have the vehicle handling test. After that -once passed- I'll know when I get to do the riding test on the road. After all that I'll have the license (and likely no bike just yet).
