Clio V6 on PistonHeads
£27.000 Ohmy
For the same price, I prefer this : R33
Or this M5
You will say, it's not the same type of car. And I love the Renault Clio V6. However, you need a daily with this car, only because I wouldn't take the risk to crash a so rare and beautiful Clio V6 :/ etc, and the other cars I selected can be driven as a daily.
For me, the V6 is only if you have a lot of money, and only if you're an exotic car enthusiast.
But, the V6 is a great car, I agree with you. Smile

Well yeah, it would be something that you'd put in your shed and drive on the two clear sunny days every year. W00t

Nice car Sam!

Changed the rear axle bushings, and both rear shock absorbers. Still couldnt solve the problem with the left rear tyre being all goofy with its alignment. The wheel bearing is ok, Dad and I are suspecting that the axle has taken damage, but the wheel doesnt shake at all :/ just eats the thread from the tyre fast from the edges...

Oh, and discovered that i need to weld the left sill. A hole has appeared.

Just take it to an alignment shop to see what can be done. In the end it's cheaper than buying new tire sets and you'll get all the other wheels in check as well.

RE: Show us your ride! - Toni - 2016-09-11 16:59

Its in the plans, but its just strange that all the other wheels are like they should or atleast close, as they dont wear out from the edges, its only that damn left rear that causes the problems atm. Otherwise the car is absolutely in the same condition as we bought it.

And ill need to buy new tyres for next year, absolutely no use next year with those.

RE: Show us your ride! - Sam - 2016-09-13 23:30

Thanks guys, I'm thinking about buying spacers to help the fitment a little (Decent ones though) and also thinking about buying a second set of wheels

The same as in this picture Speedline Turini's and putting my current tires on these to use on the track and putting something more sensible on my current ones that will be better in the rain (More than likely Uni Royal rainsport 3's). Don't really want to do anything else to it just now as I've just got the car so haven't had a chance to really push it yet.

@Borja, the Cup came with the wheels in this color from the factory, it looks much better when you see it IRL as the camera never picks up J45 Racing Blue very good for some reason, black and white I feel always look like a bit to much of a contrast in color for me when I've seen these in RB with black or white wheels (:

@Raphi I think he has the same exhaust as me!

@Roba Wouldn't mind a C30 T5 at some point Wink

RE: Show us your ride! - Raphi - 2016-09-14 05:35

@Sam what exhaust do you have ? By the way he doesn't have the car anymore, he sold it for a Subaru, but his Subaru was burned by ***** :/
Now, he have a 535d, I think I have a photo somewhere, looking at it Wink

Did you do some modifications on it? Engine or Chassis? The uncle's Clio was quite light, a bit less than 1 ton Smile , everything useless was removed lol

RE: Show us your ride! - Sam - 2016-09-15 00:57

@Raphi, its a Scorpion 197 exhaust if I remember correctly, haven't done any performance mods yet, my car is a Cup so came out the factory weighing 1035kg.

The first performance mod I am going to do is the brakes, pads and fluid I think as I drove the car properly spirited today for the first time today and although I could apply more pressure to the brakes, it didn't stop any quicker or as I feel it should have, also fitted my wind deflectors today.
