Well my dad picked up a new toy. It's a 1945 GMC DUKW. Yes it is amphibious, and I have piloted it! This DUKW didn't see WWII service, but it saw Korea and Vietnam. It will do 50mph on land and 6kts on the water. In the water it's basically like piloting a motored barge. On land it's like driving the worlds heaviest, slowest, and most archaic tractor. That being said I still think it's one of the coolest things I've ever operated. I can't wait to attempt a high speed water entry!

Havent posted a car pic for a while, we went for a trip to Åland visited Gegg also with my gf ( maybe il post a bro pic to what do you look like topic if Gegg allows W00t ) about 800km~ driven during that trip car worked flawlessly Thumbup1

Changed rear dust shields, all handbrake parts, all brakediscs and pads, new radiator, original steering wheel back. Passed MOT. Windscreen change next tuesday. Then i might finally put the coilovers on if i have the motivation lol.

And my previous 2009 E60 which had a very conserning history. Originally sold to the UK being RHD, then most likely totaled, rebuilt and converted in Poland to LHD, then sold to Germany and then in 2016 imported to Finland. No maintenance records from brand new, never been to the dealer in it's whole life. Seats etc were still from the original car, the passenger front seat had all the adjustments etc and the drivers seat didn't.

Winter car, and something to use while other cars are being repaired. It's a 1991 Opel Kadett E 1.6i that is just reaching 120 000km's.

It looks fairly good in this photo, but the paint is horrible in reality. W00t

Will see a mechanic today who will see if its worth fixing as the rear has more damage other than the bumper. Its shifted a bit forward.
