Did you try contacting the Logitech yet - http://www.logitech.com/en-gb/support? When my Logitech G25 broke back in the days, they generously replaced it with a brand new Logitech G27. It was still in the warranty, which yours is probably not anymore, but still, it's worth a try. They will probably give you a -50% on everything coupon for their webstore, making the G27 quite cheap.
