Gran Turismo 6? - ChrisM - 2013-05-09 04:38

Found it, thought I'd share. At the end of the video it shows the logo of 1,2,3,4,5 and then flashes a " _ ", hinting at a 6th for the 15th anniversary of the series.

Is there anything surprising? Part 5 is out, so what they gonna do next?

Nope, and make a sequel. Just found a "Possibly related thread" by Ras from a while back too lol, nevermind.

If I'm correct, the official announement will be done at the 15th this month.

I have high hopes for the GT6 Laugh

If it's going to be released on PS3 I'm happy I don't have to get PS4 yet Tongue

.. We've had each and every one of the GT series, both A-spec and B-spec ones, until they were in 1 on the GT4.

I still remember playing GT1 on the old ps1 lol. Quite enjoyed it too, loved the Castrol Supra RZ.

Ikr, Not sure if it was GT1 or 2 on the PS1, probably both, were you could cheat many corners by driving full throttle on the outside wall and let the wall steer your car Tongue

Hmh, I've had every Gran Turismo game in the main series (1, 2, 3, 4, Prolouge, 5), but I definitely wont be getting the newest one. Mainly as GT4 and especially GT5 was a huge let down. Sounds were terrible, graphics weren't as good as promised, and it was just overall a weird game to be playing. And if they will follow the previous system with two games per console, they'll have to release yet another game, downed by the horrible graphics and overall performance of the PS3.. :/

From what I was told 6 will be released as basically the last big ps3 game. 5 was the first big ps3 game, and now they understand the systems maximum capacities. They will push the ps3 to its limits with 6 and will be updating lots of the cars they didn't before.

To be a bit honest, they already hit the max. of what the PS3 was able to do. I have tons of lagg when doing donuts, skidmarks are disapearing after completing a lap, while if iirc, skidmarks were pretty much permanent in the older GT games (don't blame me, someone told me that)

Skidmarks probably never were permanent, I haven't found it annoying for the skidmarks to disappear, doesn't affect the driving.

What comes to the lag, I never had any lag.. Or so small occasional lag I can't remember. My only problem in the whole game is the 24h A-spec races and bad connection to the servers to play online.

Yea, online connections suck.

Do some donuts in any random car on any random track. Apart from the choppy textures against the car, your PS3 will have a hard time doing it on a steady FPS. Or atleast, the last time I tried (wich is... quite a while ago)
