I think the image you've chosen is a .gif, but isn't an animated one. Make sure the picture "moves" on the webpage before putting it as your avatar. Make sure its the size that the forum likes, otherwise it'll puke it out. Your .gif only is not animated and therefore consists of only one frame. E: nvm too late.
