Howling passed away due to an overdose of rice.. I tried to nurse him back to health forcing him to drink water, and giving him a teddy.. But then the the server restarted.

I have it and have played around 200 hours of it. It's a great game and I follow up all the updates but my PC struggles to run it now, so I will have to wait until Christmas to start playing it again.

Masssive ass bump, just wondered if anyone still played this? Just got the standalone after my Arma wouldn't work and looking for some survival buddies?

Used to love playing SA back when people were slightly more friendly and finding food wasn't so difficult. I'd like to start playing again but waiting for more updates (it's still alpha lmaoo).

I've tried... A lot, I always had to go into a empty server first, because every server I can find with people you'll just be shot within 10 minuets. Its that trigger happy.
It has potential but sadly I've had a better time with a standalone zombie survival on cherno mod for Arma 3 then DayZ standalone.
It has potential, but the game runs awfully, I've not experienced it but I know its an issue with some PC's/Cards.

Only got DAYZ few days ago, majority of people ive come across tend to wanna team up, had a few tards just open fire tho, find a server with a no KOS policy unless in military base or police area and problems are solved

Has anyone played battlegrounds to really compare the two. My buddies and I are looking for a similar game to kill time with. Pretty sick of BF1 and CoD lol.
