Round 1 - Westhill (WE1) (Click to View)

Race 1

I had a very bad Qualifying, starting down in 26th out of 30 cars. I had a pretty good start, fighting my way up to 20th and had a great scrap with people such as Rony Kronpuss, J.Katila and Toni. I managed to fend off any opposition behind and stayed my ground through ~laps 6-10. Through those laps I held 21st without any opposition as the group in front were gaining ground away from me, while Toni was gaining ground behind me. I kept an eye on the gap between us and kept it pretty constant at 2 seconds. However, disaster struck on Lap 11 in T9 when I clipped the inside post on the Apex and spun my car, just being able to hold it to only lose the position to Toni. I fended off the car behind and finally ended Race 1 in 22nd.

Result: 22nd

Race 2

As the grid order was the finishing order of Race 1, I subsequently started in 22nd. I lined up on the grid turning inwards to sufficiently block the car behind; however, I got a terrific start and caught the slipstream of the car in front. I took the 1st corner with vigour and pushed through to 14th. I then had another great scrap into the first few corners with Kieran and Rony. As the lap went on, I found myself just behind the two of them and got a good exit from T10 onto the Main Straight. I caught the slipstream of Rony (who was on the inside line) with Kieran on the outside line. Kieran just left enough room for me to squeeze through the middle to go three-wide into the 1st corner. I came out on top with the inside line into T2 but went too wide coming into the infield and lost both positions unfortunately. For the next few laps I kept 16th without too much opposition; however, I did find myself going three-wide again with the two cars behind which startled me, putting me down a position. I fought back after the car behind me lost time and went up the inside of Rony into the final long left hander, forcing him to go wide and kept the position. It was a quieter race in the last few laps for me but I had to be wary of the car behind not catching me as my tyres started to wear. I managed to hold off Venelinov to come home in 16th, earning valuable points for myself.

Round 1 Stream:

Race 1

Not the best Qualifying for Round 2 as I never seemed to find the pace I found in practising for this round, eventually qualifying 18th. Nevertheless, I went into the race with full confidence I could get a good start, and that I did. Going into T1 I found myself on the inside line and managed to get up to 14th in good nick. Unfortunately, perpetual mouse problems that continued throughout the race caused my pace to slow, especially on the straights and corner exits, causing me to lose significant amounts of time. I found myself in a 4-way scrap at the back which ended in tears for Rony Kronpuss who, unlucky as he is, spun out at both T3 and the custom chicane. However, this proved vital for me, giving me breathing room and allowing me to set more consistent lap times. However, later on into the race, I saw a crash on the minimap and was a little too cautious into the final chicane, slowing down far too much and losing a position to WCL driver Soini. Into the closing laps and I found myself in a two-way fight to the end with damaged driver Pulkkinen, who managed to get a better exit on the last corner and use the slipstream to edge past me at the line, beating me by 0.08 seconds. A thrilling end.

Result: 18th

Race 2

Race 2 saw me start in my familiar position of 18th, but this time, I was determined to better my grid position. Luckily for me, this race proved to be a much more chaotic start, with many more collisions than the first. I weaved my way through the traffic into a solid 13th, but there was much competition behind me. With my mouse problems continuing, all I could do was go defensive on the tight Blackwood track, only holding up the train behind even further. Fortunately for me, there were quite a few drivers who crashed out and thought they'd give up instead of carrying on for the obviously very valuable points they might have gotten. I carried on fighting and found myself overtaking a crashed Veloso who was originally running in 6th-7th earlier on in the race. However, due to his superior pace, on the penultimate lap (15), Veloso got a little impatient and threw his car up the inside of me. I left plenty of room for the manoeuvre to take place but, the inevitable happened and his car lagged into mine, causing me to fly off the track into the gravel. I managed to get my car out just in time, nursing the car home on the final lap with, luckily, just another heavily damaged car behind me, bringing it home in 17th. At least I was up on my grid position with some valuable points!

Result: 17th

Round 1 - Westhill (WE1)

Race 1

Just like Connor I had a bad qualifying time. However, Connor had a very calm one compered to me. The Beginning for me was okayish until lap 3. Jiri was taking the inner line while i was side by side to him on the outside, I tried to give him as much space as i can until we had a small collision which made me fail in the first race..

Result: Last due to my race error.

Race 2

Race 2 was one long intense one! I had battles that were really intense, if you watch the Youtube video you will see how i ended up 18th. Was a very intense race and i would like to thank Connor for creating this thread.

Result: 18th

Was great fun, looking forward to more of these.

Then in race two I had to start from the back and got forced off track by another car (82 I think it was) again, my luck. Edit: I will be protesting this move even though I ended up finishing ahead of him as it was a dumb thing to do and deserves to be punished.

I was thinking about doing the FOX Jr myself last week but I decided against it since i'd rather not commit to anything at the moment.

Oh for sure. This civilized racing with leaving room for overtakes, respecting each other (like I gave up the position to Rony after the crash) makes for a pleasant change from the perils of the [TC] servers.

Not even that, it's better than any public racing such as cargame. Private racing leagues are the best, be it on console or PC; you've got to join people! Just make sure you're able to hold your ground and be respectful!

Race 1

Had a reasonable quali session, due to some unseen circumstance with their rules etc, we had to pit, then shift + p, then send setup, I stuck loads of fuel in and done a race/quali session, starting 18th, had a brilliant start, made 6 places in the first few laps, had a brilliant battle with shikari, then a pop up spun on the back straight, i was quite lucky in that it didnt damage the car too much (always thought the camber on there setup was rubbish anyway ) fell back to 25th, made it all the way back to 16th!!

Race 2

Race 2 was a good close race, apart from a small tag with the #5 car who was serving a drive through, came out was slow through the first corner and meandered in the middle of turn 1!! Caught his wheel whilst going round the outside, gained a few places from where I started

Picked up some good points, look forward to the next one as I struggled with that setup, never really found a good balance!!

Result: 16th and 13th

Im very sad to dont be abble to race this weekend. I were training abit on this track but i had some problems and cant race on it. I will practice hard for next track , good work for all the racers . Keep up the good work guys

My screen went black in the first race for like 8 seconds, tried driving blind but ended up backwards in the wall with lots of suspension damage, was doing well too, best in quali from the TC community.

Second race I had to start from the back because of my DNF on the first, kept getting help up with traffic then the number 82 forced me into the sand, despite me having the position, I decided to not cause a crash and let myself loose a lot of time, but I'll be reporting it despite still finishing ahead of the 82 car.

Tbh don't know if I can be bothered racing in the rest of them now, would have been mid-field point wise if it wasn't for my bad luck, really made me un-interested for the rest of the races now

@Kieran - That was a great three-wide battle between Rony, you and I into the first corner. I can't wait for the next one, and I'll aim to beat you in at least one of the races.

And Shikari, don't let a bit of bad luck put you down like that. Shit happens in these racing leagues, you bounce back and come back stronger next time. Just ask the guys that raced in CL20 this year, they had their ups and downs but in the end, they overcame that and came out on top. Come on, keep it up mate!

Well , ROUND 4 - AS

I never practied it , cause of gumball , but i decided to give a go on it. I never make the quali because i conect a bit late , and start the race the race withouth knowing the track ( im nub , i know xD ) , and well , the first race i start 15 and finished 14 .And the second , i started 13 and finished 12.
Wasnt bad , as its my first race , and never practied it
