RE: Xmas deals
I was focusing on the United States because Stunna is a Connecticutian. I'm not sure if he's going to go shopping in the UK for the holidays.
Most of my post is from personal experience, so that's why I kinda flew off the handle about your double Christmas reference. I don't celebrate Christmas. I celebrate Thanksgiving, but I don't celebrate Christmas the way people usually (or are supposed to) do. I don't see family on Christmas, yet I do on Thanksgiving. From what I've learned in school, American's typically don't give/give many gifts like Christmas. Thanksgiving here is more communal than materialistic. The food's also better since my brother's a chef. :3 In America, children focus Christmas on giving/receiving gifts. Just saying. Now we're going off topic. Lovely. |

Children may do, but we adults typically don't Gifting isn't really a defining point of either, even though afaik it does happen in both for some families but neither or either/or for others. I guess many children (depending mostly on age) don't really get what Thanksgiving's really about, in the same way that they don't really get what Christmas is all about. Hell, there are even a lot of adults that don't get it or don't care. Anywho, tangent over |

Just saying, probably worth googling "Is there any point in arguing with Elmo on the TC Forums?"
To quote Little Britain. I am the only gay in the village. And more relatably, "Computer says no" |
