Cops losing contact

I also noticed that there is a high chance of COPs losing contact on Jamaica Offroad rings, two days ago I was in a chase, when I lost the suspect while I literally could still see him. Unfortunately, I don't have any screenshots or replays, but a fact is a fact. I believe other COPs have also experienced that at least once.

Another place where I lost a suspect was in the Swamps, I was on the Dead Man's crest, while the suspect turned in the Swamps, and I, willing to cut off the suspect, which was going on the road, went through the grass, but when I met the suspect on the end of the road (by the tyre stack), I had lost the chase, even tho the suspect was visible physically and was too close to me for losing the chase.
