Well folks, this is the one you've all been waiting for. Crash Obsessions.

Crash Obsessions is a demolition-derby style event, with up to 28 competitors, and one winner.

Entry to the event is €1,000, all of which placed into the prize pool, for the winner. I myself will donate €22,000 towards the prize. Meaning, should we have a full house with 28 competitors, the winner will be walking away with a minimum of €50,000, depending on donations.

The event will take place on May 3rd, 2014, at 7PM GMT. The server name and password will be sent out to all competitors 24hrs before the event begins.

The event is open to all road cars, so it's time to wreck your favourite car!

Donations of any amount are greatly appreciated, as 100% of the prize money will go to the winner. Donations can be sent to SOMufflord (mufflord), just send him a PM on the forum with the amount you donated.

The sign-up thread can be found -here-.

The rules thread can also be found -here-.

The discussion thread is riiiight over -here-.

See you on the circuit, guys!

Did you seek permission to use GLOW's demo derby layout?

And who thought it was a good idea to host this at midday? Tongue - Sadly, I won't be able to make it.
According to several members, the layout was once available in the public domain, which is where it was sourced. Since then, we have modified the layout to better suit our requirements surrounding the event. If it did in fact belong to [GLOW], We will be more than happy to change it.

The original layout was indeed available on a public website Smile

Sadly, I won't be able to make it :/
That's fair enough then, just checking.
UPDATE: Due to the amount of requests for the time to be changed, the event time is now 7pm GMT. The date remains the same, May 3rd. If you cannot make this time, and you have already signed up and paid, please PM Mufflord stating so, and you will be issued a full refund.
A third of the spots are filled already for Crash Obsessions, in just under 24 hours! As of right now, the prize money totals €66,021, with this increasing as more of you sign up and donate. So what are you waiting for, get signed up!
Due to more donations, the prize money stands at €89,021! Can you think of a good reason not to sign up? I can't!
Head on over -here- to get signed up now!
15 places filled, and we're only 5 days away... The prize money now stands at a HUGE €110,021! Remember, you won't be able to win if you're not signed up!

Come on over and sign up!
two questions. since there are lots of spaces left i guess its ok if i sign up and maybe not show up? of course i pay and money can be kept if im not home in time.

just to make sure, you are talking bout gmt/utc, not bst? due to daylight saving gmt is currently not the same as british summertime. 7pm gmt is 8pm in london. 9pm in germany...

My apologies, firstly, it would be British Summertime standard, yes.
That would be no problem whatsoever, feel free to sign up, and should you desire, we will have no problem issuing a refund to you.
So what time is it then?

Finland I think we are GMT+3 so it is 10pm/22:00 for me?
Nooo 7pm BST is GMT +1. So 9pm Smile i think..

So what time is this now Biggrin
We're currently in BST in the UK, which is GMT+1, the same time as UTC. The event starts at 7 GMT which will be 8pm for those in the UK. Finland is GMT+3, so it should start at 10pm for you.
Can anyone who knows it just say that it starts in for example [9 hours 51 minutes]?
You could keep an eye on the time here and turn up as the that time approaches 7 o' clock.
