Training Information:

Took place on: 3/6/14

Trainer(s) Present: Connor [T]; Ace [T]

Assistance Present: Polete [CA]

Lead Trainer: Connor [T]

Good Points:

Your general car control was good, you showed promising speed at the start of the final chase. Your overall awareness of the suspect was good, you knew when the suspect was going to U turn and instead of following him up to the barrier, you quickly U turned and anticipated where he was going to go. Your manoeuvres overall were very good; PITs were calculated and boxes were safe and clean. You respect other cops and understand well, the COP 1/COP 2 rule. Your settup was very good and your tires stayed at optimum temperature for a vast majority of the chase. You show great potential to become a very good cop.

Improvements:

Your inexperience did show a little. Your reaction time was a little slow but this will improve with experience. Your use of force was sometimes too harsh on the suspect, there was a time when you actually rammed the suspect and you may lose your cop rights over that (make sure you apologize after hitting someone too hard in a chase). Shifting down gears were a little off at times, try to shift down between 5000-6000 RPM in an FZ5 as this will allow you to have better braking power in the rear wheels rather than the front brakes alone. Be careful with braking on a corner, this will cause you to spin out/damage your tires.

Authorized by Luke.

Notes: Feel free to apply for Advanced training.
