I feel like there should be a tfr over the warzone. Here in the states(through the FAA) we have tfrs(temporary flight restrictions) for sporting events, military training, mortar training, presidential flights etc. And they just route flights around them not very hard. Maybe a 2 hour delay for some of the large ones but it would be in the benefit of future flights to have ICAO route all scheduled passenger flights around the zone and institute a TFR for private pilots.

Those planes seem to be mostly flying to Kiev or other nearby airports, so they have no choice.

Besides the plane was said to be shot down near Torez (Ukraine) and when you check that location, you can see that there is no plane within a 50km range to it.
They are avoiding the warzone (East-Ukraine)
Well they will be now won't they? This is all over the news everyone is going to avoid going through the same location because they know what happened.
