The newly discovered bug in Bash in the Linux operating system may be one of the biggest threats in the Internet's history.

The only way for normal users to protect themselves is to update the software and hardware.

Linux is a very small operating system for personal computers, but big in the server world and that is why the vulnerability of Bash represents as great a threat

A similar bug, Heart Bleed, which was discovered in April, allowed hackers to spy on computers and were considered very dangerous. By Bash hackers can take full control of the computers and the risks are obviously greater.

- It provides full access to the systems, so a hacker can upload files, run files and basically ruin the entire system. At risk are all machines running some form of Linux or Unix, including Mac, says Per Hellqvist computer security firm Symantec.

Currently, intensive effort among software and hardware manufacturers to plug security door and the only thing we ordinary consumers can do is to update all the computers, including, of course, security programs. You should also update the software in the home network router. How it is described on the manufacturer's website.
