New Post Icon Guidelines

As you may have seen, there are now more, better looking post icons. The post icons are used to give other users visual information about what is a thread and topic about; to express the emotion and content of the thread. It would be great if you started to use these icons as you post a new thread—without it your thread might seem naked! The icons were made by Pete.

A photo is a picture taken with a camera; photography (photo = light)

NOTE: These are just guidelines. Any of these icons can be used for different purposes; if the icon represents something well, it is okay to use it.

E.g., a plane post icon can be used for anything related to aeroplanes.
Nice icons Pete. Thanks for the guide Enty.
We've gone around adding appropriate icons to various popular and important threads. If we've missed any, feel free to highlight them or if you made the OP, add one yourself by editing the thread.
