Wheen was clean windows got real 23gb. One month later, got 10gb free? what happens? Never any new install program? just wtf? Don't know how to clean for fake files?

HALP PLZ!

So you're saying that you had 50GB space and overtime you are now left with 10GB without installing anything.

Windows uses hidden files which you can unhide. Can't quite remember how (I believe you right click on a folder and select properties and in general, they maybe a "show hidden" selection).

Yeah these are mostly to protect important window files such as updates and drivers and could be the case here. But I'm not sure that much memory would be used.
Do you have anything in your temp folder? How big is your page file?
Run the built-in Disk Cleanup. Just search from the startmenu.

Also, you may also have "previous versions" of files.

13gb Stolen disk space! Shit virus? I have use Antyvirus AVG PRO so not good protect that sucks antyvirus...

*Maybe add Skype and Help with me on TEAMVIEWER 10?!
It's likely that your Explorer session is not running with admin rights. Therefore, your simple attempt to count the used space by selecting all folders may simply not work, as you're not allowed to access all folders.

Another thing to try:
http://windirstat.info/
It nicely shows usage per folder.

(setup: http://windirstat.info/wds_current_setup.exe )
Nice Chuck! Found two files!

Thanks Chuck Glorious Master!
i wouldnt recommend deleting any of those. u might end up with a crashing pc. especially if you use video editing often wich takes alot of memory.
you can move the virtual memory (pagefile.sys) to another drive. just google or search on youtube for pagefile.sys.
also just deleting the hiberfil might get u into trouble. i have no idea how it works exactly, but just by logic something in windows will want to use it. search for deactivating hibernation. if deactivated u might be good to delete it. as far as i remember it helps to speed up boot, but can be disabled.
Yeah stay pagefile.sys. Just delete hiberfil.sys (when clean windows was without hiberfil)
The hiberfil.sys belongs to the hibernate function. aka suspend-to-disk
You can disable that by opening an command prompt:
WindowsKey+R and paste
powercfg -h off

After a reboot, you can delete the file (its usually locked).

As for the pagefile. If you have 8GB or more RAM, I actually recommend deactivating that aswell. Unless you know for sure you gonna need more memory that you physically have installed. Which is, hardly ever the case. Judging by the images above, I figure you have 16GB installed.

Many people, especially those who have HDDs instead of SSDs, will be surprised how much quicker and more responsive Windows gets, once you deactivated the paging file.
You can easily spot those, look out for players who start with a big lag right after they've joined LFSSmile
