Hi,

You both needed to slow down for the chase that was ahead. You both got too close and it looked like you were both trying to pass it. You could have apologised for hitting him, that might have defused the situation. Yes, he shouldn't have rammed you, but immediately threatening that you'll report him isn't the most friendly way to deal with a situation either. As the rules state, when dealing with a rulebreaker:

Sometimes, using the right words is the better and faster than all above.

This user will however receive a ban for ramming you, as they're not long off a ban for, surprise surprise, ramming. Just remember to try and talk first of all, instead of immediately shouting "Report! Report!" That doesn't help anyone and it's just a bit obnoxious.
