Right first I had a problem of 1St and 2ND gear not working if I let go as soon as I get hold of it, it worked, anyway got advised to clean the pots of the shifter did it now my 1St and second gear work like a dream.

But the moral story of it 3Rd and 4th don't work at all
Any advice?

Try doing the same to the same to them! If it worked with the first two then why couldn't it work with the rest?
