Confirmed platforms are PS4 & Xbox One, no word on PC just yet. (ples roackstur)
Red Dead Redemption 2 will release worldwide in Fall 2017 on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One systems.
An epic tale of life in America’s unforgiving heartland, the game's vast and atmospheric world will also provide the foundation for a brand new online multiplayer experience.
I hoped they were not going be *Removed* again with the PC release but as it is their usual style I expected it, now it's starting to seem that I was correct to do so.
to me it seems like Rockstar have a deal with sony and microsoft, maybe, sony and microsoft have given money to rockstar so they put there games out earlier on Console so that fans are forced to buy a console if they want to play it straight away. Just my theory

And Rockstar can sell more than one copy to the same person when they buy it for PC after getting it for console. It's all about da monies.

I think they see sense.
People like myself and many others bought it PS3/PS4/XBOX and then bought it on PC too.
Yup, got it on 360 release and PC release. They know it's a lot more lucrative that way, they even let you transfer character knowing that you will buy the game twice.

We are excited to announce that Red Dead Redemption 2 will be released on October 26th 2018. We apologize to everyone disappointed by this delay. While we had hoped to have the game out sooner, we require a little extra time for polish.
We sincerely thank you for your patience and hope that when you get to play the game, you will agree the wait will have been worth it. In the meantime, please check out these screenshots from the game. We look forward to sharing a lot more information with you in the coming weeks.
Is anyone else worried this'll fall to the scourge of 2014+ gaming? SP is a tutorial for the microtransaction filled MP. Hopefully not since I loved RD1.
