what needs to be done for it to be [RES] suitable?

RES is fire and REScue, so generally it would need to look like a fire service vehicle.

If I changed it to red and then added fire in a few places on it, would that be alright? I'll post results if that would be allowed.

It's still pretty much a tow skin, I thought you were going to make the whole thing red.

Yeah, you're probably better off just starting it from scratch. Not really highly recognisable as a [RES] skin.

The skin in the OP is perfect for TOW though.

How isn't it? it's red exactly as you asked, and got fire+rescue on it. every time you want a change I'm having to pay the creator even more to just change it about.

Yes, it was suggested that you can make it red, but a tow skin doesn't turn into a [RES] skin just by changing the colour, it will need additional work. Or, as suggested, can be started from scratch.

Look at some images of fire vehicles. Think about adding some high-res patterns.

I'd like to change it and base it off this as a [RES] vehicle, not TOW.

or does a [RES] vehicle have to be red? this is white with red and yellow highvis, i'll add a few Aussie logos onto it, if that sounds ok?
