Information, Rules & Regs



Information

Welcome to CityLiga Sprint Races (CLSR) organised and hosted by [TC] Racing in partnership with CityLiga (cityliga.de).

This series will run alongside CityLiga and will serve as a way of training for the main races and generating more sign-ups for CityLiga itself. This series differs from the Burnout Crew Training Races in that it will not simulate the race day schedule. Everyone is welcome and you do not need to be signed up to a CityLiga season in order to participate.

Each event will follow this schedule:
  • Official practice starts at 19:00 UTC
  • A short qualifying session to determine the first grid will begin at 19:30 UTC
  • A set of sprint races will follow that are roughly 15 minutes in length each
  • Official event ends at 21:00 UTC (Event time: 1hr 30m)
The races will take place every two weeks on alternate Mondays to CityLiga races at 19:30 UTC on [TC] Racing. The car and track combination for each event will be that of the next CityLiga race.


Rules & Regulations

Even though this series will not contribute to any points or rankings, there are still a set of rules and regulations that all participants must follow at all times.

For the sake of consistency, we will be enforcing the rules and regulations as specified in section III (Fairness) of the CityLiga rulebook.


Championship Points

We will be running an unofficial championship points system which has nothing to do with the actual CityLiga, it's just a nice way of keeping people interested in CLSR and giving you something to aim for.

Points will be awarded for your 3 best finishes in a round according to the following scale (1-40):

60; 52; 47; 44; 42; 40; 38; 36; 34; 32; 30; 29; 28; 27; 26; 25; 24; 23; 22; 21; 20; 19; 18; 17; 16; 15; 14; 13; 12; 11; 10; 9; 8; 7; 6; 5; 4; 3; 2; 1

This means that everyone will score points and the maximum points you can score per round is 180.



Some answers to common questions

Will the server be passworded?
The server will NOT BE PASSWORDED until qualifying starts at 19:30 UTC.

When does the event end?
The event will end at 21:00 UTC (The password will be lifted after this for a few more races for those who want to stick around).

Do I have to be signed up to CityLiga to attend?
No! Anyone can attend.
