Hi.

I might be the only one bothered by this, and fair if I am.

Lately, there's been a lot of spam in the chat involving casino's, and people pasting a bind every 30 seconds for donations to buy a car.
*coughs*




I've seen TC cutting down on this whenever they're on, which is nice. However, as there isn't any rules made regulating this, it's still getting out of hand and you can't exactly tell someone to stop when there's no rules against it.

So my suggestion is to make some sort of rule, which at least regulates this so it's not what fills the chat all the time.

Considering spamming generally isn't allowed (or at all), and there is even a subforum for this type of stuff, people are allowed to do it, as long as they respect others and don't spam, which is more than likely what the admins have been speaking to people about.

I'd recommend trying to see the fun in playing here, I see a lot of posts all over the place about things that 'aren't right and need to be changed or sorted' and not too much appreciation for what there is, and what you have access to.

Whenever I see someone constantly begging, I'd tell them to stop. I think most admins would do the same.

Regarding these "casinos", I advise the public that these are not official and players deal with them solely at their own risk. I advise the people who "run" these "casinos" to not constantly put those advertising messages into chat. They will have to find a different way to do it which doesn't irritate the majority of the server playing at the time.

At the first days the Casion thing started, I get a PM when I join the server. That was rly annoying. Dont know if other users get them too.

But I think they have now a own channel.

Begging for money is always annoying. Read so often things like "can you please give me 1000 €". Its made in minutes by driving.

But I think it should be by the Admins to decide if it is spam or not. Maybe TC can bring the point "spam messages" to the !report system for a community kick if no admin is on.

Having an actual casino would certainly put off all those spamming Casino-broker people and probably piss them off, but I doubt it should be done since its TC, not LCS.

That being said I guess the only probable action is just to encourage the use of a seperate channel for gamling in this Casino thing. Main chat usage is fun for a while but after it just fills the chat too much and you just get casino-related chatter constantly. !ch is the only way.

Also I don't think kerbing this should be considered because after all, the participants should know what they are getting themselves into in the first place. Their money, their decision on how to use ir, or in this case, spend it and lose it all.
