I need help... i recently bought a car and it has aux input.... so if anyone knows will it play music files from USB with this adapter through aux.

https://www.conrad.at/de/p/goobay-usb-kl...93348.html

I googled some solutions but got confused.
Pls reply only if ur sure if it works
This looks to me like a USB output / AUX output
not USB input / AUX output like it should be?
Correct me if I'm stupid W00t
I don't think it's possible to convert a USB output into an aux input.

However, if you are bothered that much by it (e.g. you require USB input since all your songs are there / you prefer it over aux) then you can quite easily replace the unit. Obviously this would involve buying a new one, but it would be worth it if you needed it.

I found this, which I guess is what you're on about? https://www.amazon.co.uk/USB-Adapter-Con...B01M2BN6FZ

P.S. That description says: "Please make sure your Aux port has mp3 decode function that can read the mp3 file from U-disk.If your car don't have this function,it will can't work,PLS CONFIRM IT BEFORE YOU BUY!!!"
Wait WHat?!

U cant play music from usb with an AUX input.

Buy a transmitter with usb input and problem solved. AUX for playing music from phone or sth like iPod.

Yeah thats an option... but i want to be able to choose and see what song im gonna play on cars user interface, transmitter with USB doesnt give that option

Anyways i bought USB to AUX adapter and will let you know if it works
I couldn't imagine it working. Why not get an MP3 player?

The fact the connectors somehow fit doesn't make it work as you expect lol.
It might be helpful to know what other options you have before deciding for a solution. Like, do you insist using a USB stick? Other options are to use SD cards or play from a device having own storage, i.e. phone or mp3 player.

If you don't have any of that "modern" stuff, you could do as herjoe mentioned. There is a wide range of so-called FM transmitters. https://www.amazon.de/FM-Transmitter/b?i...=617059011

These things can either play from a locally inserted storage, like an SD card, or relay what it got from your phone. They don't need no aux as they simply send their output as FM radio signal. So, you have to start your radio and tune-in your own "station".
I know... i kinda knew it wouldnt work since USB use digital signal and AUX uses analog signal, but guy i aked at the store convinced me it would work .... Guess i need to buy FM transimtter.
