This thread has been put forward for discussion by [TC] Members. We aim to get back to you with a verdict as soon as possible - Thanks!
This skin is not reconizable enough. The text is too small, there is a lack of high-vis colors and is not recognizable from a reasonable distance.

Quote:4.4.1 Visibility:
It should be highly visible so it can be recognised at a glance from a reasonable distance.

4.4.2.a Traditional
It should have a solid base colour with large areas/panels of bodywork in a contrasting base colour and/or large stripes along the sides in contrasting/hi-vis colour(s).
Suitable base colours are dark colours such as Black, Navy Blue, Dark Green and very light colours such as White, Silver or pale chalk-pastel type colours. Colours such as Yellow, Orange, Pink, Purple and Red are not reccommended as base colours as they have reduced contrast and can easily be mistaken for civillian/recovery vehicles. Yellow/Orange can be used for stripes if they contrast sufficiently with surrounding livery/base colour.

4.4.3 "POLICE"
The word POLICE (or POLIZEI, POLITIE, POLITIA or similar) must be clearly visible on the front, back and sides of the vehicle in a clear font, in colours contrasting with the background.

Do you wish to improve this skin, or should this thread be archived?
I will try to improve the skin.
After added a few decals to make it comply with the regulations here it is. I know it doesn't seem like much but RPH tried his best to keep the original concept of the skin. It does meet the contrasting colors and police on front back and sides and it also meets the visible from a distance.

Thanks for the updates, however we still feel that it looks too similar to a VCU skin and is not recognisable enough to be used as a standard COP skin. The major issues are with the front and sides (see below).

It may be challenging to make such a design fit the rules without somewhat ruining it, however here are some suggestions we have for you if you wish to try to update it:
  • Larger text (mainly the front and sides, the back is fine)
  • Larger insignia
  • Some decals that look similar to strobe/police lights

Please let us know if you wish to update it further or if we should archive the thread.
Inactive Thread
This thread will be archived due to inactivity. Please feel free to make a new thread (remember it's one skin per thread) when you are ready for feedback on how to get your skin to the required standards.
