Unfortunately we're reluctant to approve the skin in its current state primarily due to the fact that the base colour of almost entirely red gives off more of a RES skin vibe than it does a COP skin. (see rule 4.4.2.a Traditional)

4.4.2.a Traditional Wrote:Colours such as Yellow, Orange, Pink, Purple and Red are not recommended as base colours as they have reduced contrast and can easily be mistaken for civillian/recovery vehicles.

As well as this, see this other point within the same rule:

4.4.2.a Traditional Wrote:It should have a solid base colour with large areas/panels of bodywork in a contrasting base colour and/or large stripes along the sides in contrasting/hi-vis colour(s).

That black stripe along the side is not very "hi-vis", and may be better in white.

You could try to add some more markings in contrasting colours (i.e. white, not black) around the skin as a whole, to improve its visibility, but we do understand you're going for a replica here so you may not wish to do that.

If you could provide some more pictures of the real-life vehicles you've used for reference that would be helpful.

Let us know if you want to edit it and make some changes or if we should close this thread.

Yes, but the major difference here is that this skin has Battenburg markings all over it, in police colours, which makes it identifiable.

I've posted your modifications to the discussion thread, we'll hopefully have a decision soon - please be patient.

Hi - sorry about the delay,

Thanks for your efforts in updating your skin, but unfortunately we still do not feel that we can approve this as a COP skin, mostly down to the colour scheme (an inherent part of the design) which we still feel looks too similar to a RES skin.

Since any reworks would require a complete overhaul of the skin, this will be denied.

Feel free to open a new thread for any future skins.
