The server will be running the [TC] CityDriving InSim and the live stats database. It is every participant's responsibility to ensure they are financially prepared for the event. We suggest that participants check their chosen vehicle's condition before the event.

GENERAL RULES

Apart from the listed exception(s), all Server Rules apply. There are NO CHANGES to force rules / guidelines
Players MUST NOT drive onto the race track
Players MUST NOT access private (cop/crew) voice communication channels unless they belong to that round's side
Apart from the Getaway Driver, anyone MAY pitstop / respawn as much as they want (however MUST NOT re-connect to avoid any towing fine). Everything else applies - for example, a cop entering spec mode will lose the chase

Specific role-related rules are written below.

NOTE: These event rules may not cover every unintended eventuality. Please don't do anything which you think may be against the spirit of the event. Feel free to ask for clarifications before the event starts. Event Management may have to make quick decisions to keep the event running smoothly.

We will strictly avoid any rule changes before the event, however any such changes will be clearly communicated to all participants.

GAMEPLAY RULES

There will be 4 Bank Robbery rounds on Weston Park, each with a different crew / roster (see below). The rounds will be played one at a time.

To win the bank robbery, the Getaway Driver must either escape the cops via-distance, or enter their designated Safe House.
NOTE: To win using either method, at least 1 COP must have first "Caught up with the chase" (public chat message), at any point.

The Safe House was chosen by the Crew Leader before the robbery. The below notes apply to the chosen Safe House only!

IMPORTANT: The Safe House will be available to the Getaway Driver as soon as the above condition is met
When the Crew Leader is happy with the Getaway Driver's position, the Crew Leader must send a CLEAR public chat message to order the Safe House to close. Once their message disappears from the chat (after a few seconds), the entrance will close
The Crew Leader may also order the Safe House to re-open (after it closes). The same process applies
The Crew Leader may only order the opening / closing of the Safe House if the Getaway Driver is inside OR about to be inside
The robbery is successful if the Getaway Driver is in the closed Safe House, with no cops inside. NOTE: Cops outside the Safe House may be in bust range of the suspect who is inside the Safe House. This is irrelevant to the event.

If the robbery is successful, the Crew Leader will be paid. It is the Crew Leader's responsibility to distribute the earnings as they see fit.

CREW (SIGN-UP REQUIRED!)
CREW LEADER (1)

Crew Leaders MUST stay in spectate mode, without spawning
Choose their crew (with consent of the crew members), then submit the sign-up post
Privately pre-choose a Safe House (Await PM from BP)
Ensure the crew are in the server on time. No-shows may diminish the crew's chances
Coordinate crew positioning to maximise chances. Private voice communication is recommended (e.g., Discord)
Control the Safe House entrance
Distribute robbery earnings if successful

GETAWAY DRIVER (1)
NAME: Getaway Driver MUST adopt the following name format: [DRIVER] Nickname
FORCE: Only AFTER the "Failed to stop" message, MAY use force against any cop

POSITION: The bank. After the [VCU] has initiated !chase, flee the scene

GOON DRIVERS (4)
NAME: Goon Drivers MUST adopt the following name format: [GOON] Nickname
FORCE: Only AFTER the Getaway Driver has "Failed to stop", MAY actively interfere with the police
NOTE: Goons are exempt from Rule 1.5 for the participation of this event. Goon Drivers may use the same amount of force that the suspect is allowed to use (Rule 3.10.)

POSITION: Your positions are strategically dictated by your Crew Leader prior to the robbery

[TC] VCU Chase Starter (1)

POSITION: The bank
Start a !chase against the GETAWAY DRIVER once Event Management gives the
Call !mayday as soon as the Getaway Driver has "Failed to stop"
Follow the same rules as the cops (below)

COPS (10) (SIGN-UP REQUIRED!)
NAME: Cops MUST have "[VCU]" ([TC] only) or "[COP]" written clearly written in their name

These rules apply to all cops, regardless of whether they are inside the InSim "Chase" or not. For these rules, cops who are in the chase but not "Caught up with the chase" are also considered to be in chase.

Before the event, cops must be fully prepared. This includes: possible binds (e.g., !join, !backup, direction indicators), skin, [TC] Lights (or similar). Furthermore, cops are also advised to join the [TC] Discord voice channel for easier communication.

IMPORTANT: Event Management reserves the right to decline a sign up from any cop who is known to be overly aggressive in normal gameplay, and/or is known to commonly push the boundary of force rules.

POSITION: 3 cops parked at the Police HQ | 4 cops parked within visual of the bank | 3 cops patrolling the map
Cops MUST have a valid [COP] licence
Cops MUST use a realistic UK livery | Ghutra's BOLICE Skin Series contains UK skins which are deemed suitable for this event
Cops MUST use flashing lights at all times, and audible siren when appropriate (normal server rules apply)
Cops MUST NOT change their visual siren status at any time (do not type !siren)
Cops MUST NOT help the crew members' progress in any way
Cops SHOULD use a mod with a lightbar configuration. If your vehicle has a lightbar configuration, use it!
Cops MAY drop roadblock objects at any point, unless detrimental to other cops

COPS OUTSIDE CHASE...
FORCE: MUST NOT use force against the Getaway Driver. Only AFTER the "Failed to stop" message, MAY use force against the Goons

MUST NOT impede cops who they know are inside the chase (pull over if needed!)
MUST NOT initiate !chase on anybody
MUST NOT directly block access to any Safe House
SHOULD !join as soon as Mayday is called. A cop who misses it should !join on the next backup call
SHOULD ignore road laws to: follow the chase (e.g., before the Mayday), drive to a tactical position, or neutralise the Goons
MAY help with roadblocks, however MUST NOT move if the suspect is trapped near them. The cop can only move once/if the suspect manages to move on

COPS INSIDE CHASE...
FORCE: Only AFTER the "Failed to stop" message, MAY use force against the Getaway Driver and Goons

MAY call !backup at any time (e.g., if a cop forgot to !join)
MAY directly block access to any Safe House. NOTE: Cops who have lost the chase after starting the block must move away
MAY perform a roadblock (normal server rules apply)

CIVILIANS (Up to 10) (NO SIGN-UP REQUIRED!)
NAME: Civilians MUST adopt the following name format: [CIV] Nickname

POSITION: Driving around the map, essentially like a movie "extra"
Civilians MUST drive sensibly and appropriately, in a realistic vehicle
Civilians MUST stay away from cops and crew, even if no "SIREN" is on the screen
Civilians must AVOID sending messages to the chat

NOTE: We will immediately remove any civilian who is deemed a risk

SPECTATORS (NO SIGN-UP REQUIRED!)

Spectators must AVOID spawning
Spectators must AVOID sending messages to the chat

ALLOWED VEHICLES

NOT ALLOWED: Heavy vehicles, regardless of income
ALLOWED: Vehicles with an income (without restriction) of at least +2.5
ALLOWED: BZG SUV, GE20, GG55 AMD

- 3/4 Crew Wins: The three Crew Leaders get third of the pot each
- 4/4 Crew Wins: The four Crew Leaders get quarter of the pot each
