My first G27 cooked itself after four months (two months of 'real' use). I got my second one since late October if I recall correctly, it already has a pedals spiking.

Idk what some of you do to your g27's. Ive had mine for years and it functions perfectly. A couple friends have thrustmasters and the pedal springs broke after first use and they are always complaining about having to patch them together.

Obviously if you use it just for cruising then those things are not really put to test ;D. I used my DFGT just for drifting (approx. 2 years). I also have a mate who still has his DFGT running strong after 6 years of use and abuse, and he also is a drifter...we both used more or less the same settings both in-game and in our game controller settings.
I guess some are just more lucky with their products. Not sure who it was, perhaps Joona from GenR - if so, he has had multiple G27s, most of them were sent back to warranty because he was having problems with brand new ones all the time.
I did replace my shifter. Forgot about that. Anyways, I was a full time drifter since 2004 (obviously not with a g27 the whole time) before fully committing to TC. I have 3 kids that get ahold of my shit also. I still drift often aswell so dont think my g27 doesnt get beat on.
I guess you got a lucky G27 then! There are multiple reports on Logitech forums about their wheels being not the best ones (G29s are blowing up the website atm ;D).
G29 is the worst for stuff going wrong but you hear a lot more about things going wrong than things going right! I am sure loads of people have good G29s, probably 80% of buyers (yeah that is rather a few going wrong) have good ones but just don't make a big deal about it. I haven't ever heard about being "lucky" about a G27 working fine.... they seem to have had much better quality control with the G27 than the G29. My G27 is holding up well from tonnes and tonnes of use in the first year and a half of having it and nothing has gone wrong at all.
That is true k_badam. Most people that have a bad time are the ones to review. Youll find the same thing with thrustmaster products. Steam is a good example also, most people that enjoy a game do not even think about reviewing it.
New setup, with a tablet for commands and so on Smile

Soo it was time to clean my setup, and this is the result

Nice clean setup, if I had that space I'd have 4 ultra wides!
if you could afford it.... that would be upwards of £1000

Nice looking setup especially after cleaning it!
It would be more than £1000 for good quality ones, I wouldn't really switch until 4K 144hz is a more reasonable thing, which it will be in a few years probably. I could get the ultra wide-screen monitors right now if I wanted too, but I'd rather be sensible and save my money for a mortgage and buying things for my car.
Yeah, i've been looking for new monitors, but since my budget is tight i'll probalby get 3 27'' aoc monitors sometime, but ultrawides would defo be really nice.
Wow that looks neat! Is that a shelf or a long wood desk? I'm going to be moving into a new room so ive been looking for a long deskTongue
It's a long wooden tesk bought from ikea maybe 7 years ago, really good if you have the space for a table that big.
Nice and clean, good job!
Oh right, il check my nearest IKEA store soon then Tongue Cheers!
