Training Information:

Took place on: 29/03/2023

Trainer(s) Present: Anansi [T]

Good Points: Decent car control, keeping distance to the suspect, attempting to prevent any sudden manouevres from the suspect. Some PITs were useful.

Improvements: Your overall driving wasn't really good - starting with gearing, excessive engine damage caused by overrevving the engine on downshifts. Often times excessively driving on the wrong lane of the road. Map knowledge wasn't good either, using very unusual driving lines. Eventually all of this caused you to lose control and end up flipping and landing on your side. Also, paying attention to the minimap can (and will) be useful to look where your suspect is, if they performed a trick turn, for example. While some PITs were useful, others were badly timed or weak. Also when blocking a suspect after a PIT, you need to do a proper block and cover their way to escape, otherwise they can just accelerate and drive away from you.

Notes: I recommend driving slower, more forgiving cars like in the TBO class (RB4,FXO,XRT), that can be a good starting point on learning how to be faster in LFS. Also finding better lines with these cars is a good tip aswell. Learn those lines, or watch other people driving said lines and be familiar with them. Trying these lines as a CIV while in the server or offline will help aswell.
