After much effort to bring life back into the Advanced Training it was unfortunately unsuccessful. There did not seem to be a great deal of interest from our side and also the community side so it made sense to bring an end to it. The forum section is no longer. We will focus our attention on Basic Police Training and make continous adjustments to that instead. The aim will be to keep it fun, but also serve a purpose of making COPs better in the server.
Introducing a new opportunity for Basic Training is the re-test. The idea of the re-test is to allow the trainee (who has previously failed) to re-take the final chase only.
This will be at the discretion of the Trainer who is in your session. To help with this I have added a new line to the application code

This allows you to post your last training application thread to help the trainer make a choice on whether to simply conduct a final chase test again.
Why might this be useful? On some occasions players are very capable during the session but begin to make mistakes in the final chase due to nerves. Additionally, it could be that there were some problems that caused you to fail but you went away and rectified them, such as car control, car setup or a different controller. In cases like this, it might not be necessary to go through the entire training again.
I hope this new change is welcomed, we'll trial it for a few months and see how it goes. If we see positive results from it and people prefer training working this way, we can keep it.
As a final note, there have been some internal changes which will, in some cases, make the publishing of training results much quicker going forwards.
