I saw this question today posted on Reddit and it has interested me. I thought this was fairly universal but maybe not.

1. What do you call the end slices (one on each end) of a loaf of bread? (In English)
2. Where roughly do you live?

For me:
1. Crust
2. Wales

We call it the HEEL here in redneck land.

Dont ask me why, I have no idea.

Heel is crust, but crust is around every slice in the loaf, the heels are the specific slices on each end.
