Just out of curiousity, could you show me how your monitor is positioned? Also how much higher it's standing than the wheel.

I'm really interested in doing a similar build myself.

How do you remove the gear shifter btw?

When i get money for it , i`m gonna build this too Biggrin

I havent mounted my monitor yet, but will be on the wall in front of the cockpit.

As for the shifter, the long bit of wood is actually two bits, with one being on a hinge with a planned storage area underneath it when you lift it up! Smile

Is this what you're gonna use to drive the buses now?

I used to have a ruler like that, I think it got split in 2.

Here are my two, second one is being built into an suv style setup. Plans are to rebuild the first one and but some sort of car shell around the outside

Done two coats of undercoat/primer, now done the first coat of colour:

Hopefully will be back on the servers, cruising in this beast! Smile

All i gotta do now is:

- Touch up the current coat of paint
- Mount strobe lights
- Mount neon
- Mount side LED's
- Wire up buttons/switches
- Mount TV on the wall

Then its all good to go! Smile

EDIT: Carpet will be going on top of the non painted area lol Smile

Managed to get quite a large area of off-cut for free from the local carpet barn thingy Smile
