Full Version: Designer of the very first laptop died.

Hiya.

Bill Moggridge passed away on the 8th of September. He was the designer of the very first 'laptop' as we call it now. He designed the Grid Compass in '79, wich came on the market in '82.

May he rest in peace. Thanks to him we've got the laptops like we know them now.
If it wasn't him it would've been someone else.

Eventually yes, but laptops wouldn't be where they are now because of him. That's the point...
