So just wondering since the President is visiting my college today what the rest of the world thinks of him. I hate the guy, but that's my personal view. So what do you guys in other countries think of him? Does he really make us seem that bad as our news reports lol?
I don't hate him because I have no reason too, and I don't like him because I honestly don't know what he's doing for you guys.
What is with all the hate topics recently... 'everybody' loves Obama... but there is somebody that the world didn't like who ruled 8 years beforehand. I would say more but I'm going to get hate from the OP, and I don't think this is the place for a political argument.
I just honestly don't know how he is truely perceived around the world. From what I understand I'm amazed we haven't been bombed or attacked yet lol.
Haven't really heard much anything about him here in Finland lol.
@Blade - Please don't tell me you're voting for Mitt Romney.
Here in The Netherlands he only annoying the Goverment ;p

Exactly. It is difficult for anyone outside of the USA to have an opinion on Obama. It's like saying "World: Your opinions on David Cameron please". Although, he must be better than Bush?!

I think Obama is charismatic and a good public speaker - pretty much the basics of any good leader - but as for his policies, I do not have a clue.

Exactly what Brad says. And as for Bush... "Fool me once... shame on...- shame on you.... fool me, you can't get fooled again!"

*facepalm*
He seems like a pretty nice person, atleast compared to most other presidents. I don't know much about his choices in politics though.
Apart from the fact that he was trying to blame Europe for the current economical crysis.. I don't really have an opinion about him..
Mitt Romneys first action will be introducing a law to make it mandatory to build passenger aircraft with windows that can be opened...

serioulsy: how can you let someone like that rule your country? Not that i like the republicans otherwise but this bloke is nuts (just like most of the crazy people in the republican party).

I like Obama because he seems honest, thoughtfull and intelligent. But thats just an opinion from the "old world" where you dont have to be worried to die if you cant afford a hospital bill.

And now i'd like to know why you like romney and dislike Obama Blade. because honestly: you have bigger problems than the fear of beeing attacked - did the republicans ever use another argument when it comes to elections?
Lol Nammi +11333333999
+1 Nammi!
+1 Nammi.
I really do not get how Romney could become a president of the US.
Obama is all right, he just needs time for his plans. Smile
I honestly agree that he does seem charismatic, 'in charge' and under control of what he says. If I had more interest in US politics or politics in general (Which sometimes I wish I did), I would probably agree as alot of americans I know online from all walks of life dont exactly like him to an extent or are just indifferent.

Perhaps its like David Cameron and his pet chiwahua Nick Clegg ? Or it might be something us europeans dont get ?
Who's Obama guys? ;S
It's not that I even like Romney he's just the lesser of the two evils. But the main reason I dislike Obama is that his approach to government is socialism taxing the rich and giving to the lazy bums that don't work. Plus Obama is trying to stop all NASA funding and such and I am a big believer in new technology. Every tv in our house has a flat screen and we've had Internet access since the late 80s/early 90s lol. I also don't believe he supports the beliefs of the founding fathers of America believe in. But every government must crumble at some point right? Lol

How? Tongue
Did you see the things Romney stands for, and the video that got leaked?

That's how socialism works, taking care of eachother. Instead of rewarding the rich with more money and taking away the money of the poor, Obama tries to even out the difference between the rich and the poor. Which is a huge task, but as it is right now, the gap is just way too big.
I can see why people might like Romney (actually, I don't), but I really disagree with him being the lesser of the two evils.

Yeah.
Better just get used to it I think. We've got it here in Denmark again.
And because some lazy bums isn't doing any thing, the rest of us has got to work our *Removed* asses off. Seriously, some people just need to learn to do stuff themselves.

But really, liberalism is the way to go..
