TC have in the past used roadworks and it's generally nice that there's a little extra change in the track to add something different each time the layout is put up
Trouble is we've to work with an 800 Object limit and I suspect the larger tracks like Montana are probably using all 800
In the latest LFS Test Patch however, the object is raised to 900 which could allow the possibility of roadworks on these tracks when it's an official patch I guess

Sounds fun like it.

+1 From me

I can't think of any disadvantages. Some obstacles (ie. realistic looking roadworks) would be cool, I guess.

+1 from me. Its good idea , speed limits are lower :50kmh , 70kmh . But it isnt roadwork if you close all the road like it was Kyoto in one time

That had a other reason tho.
anyways, is it hard to make pretty realistic roadwork things ?

I'd love abit of roadworks, maybe on one of the roads where you have to slow down and allow other side go first etc.. (roadworks on right side) Only problem is people will still speed through and cause massive crashes (Svennn) lol

Doubt that this is gonna happen. Else -> Crashes here we come!

I like the idea. We should give it a try, and if it don't work, remove it. +1 on this.

or this
you can do this no a bend

+1. looks good and i like the idea

+1 suggested that a while ago when it wasn't possible.
Roads on TC should be big enough to accomodate two narrow lanes on one side of the road, but roadworks with traffic lights would be a problem .

A suggestion I made 2+ years ago hehe.
I like the idea of roadworks. Espacially today with open layouts where you could avoid the roadworks by taking another path if you so wish.
