So Porsche wanted me to edit a screenshot. This is the end product. What do you guys think?
Btw this is my first edit.
Not tooo bad, but there's room to improve.
For example, don't make it too dark as you can see the true colors come out. Make the edges of the lights a lot smoother, it looks too sharp and fake. The headlights seem to be aiming too high up and I don't really understand how a street light can only illuminate in a sharp style as well and in such a specific area. The traffic sign also didn't need any brush additions onto it, and if it did, at-least lower the opacity. Try to perfect your blur first before going into the next stages as I can see the differences between the headlight area and the street lamp area.
Once again, there's room for improvement. You're on the right track, just a few adjustments and you'll get there.
Good luck!
Perhaps take this as an example if you wish.
Thanks for the tips Spark

Nice one mate
I highly recommend you to search some videos from David715 where he shows how he do every edit.
Or just search via YouTube videos on how to make a normal shot into a night shot. Also raining and moving things. I have learn a bit doing this
Thanks Keplr
and I'll check it out Borja, thanks
Night edits are definitely not easy, it's much better than I can do so good job! But as Spark mentioned the darkness/visible light doesn't look very natural.
Thanks for the feedback Carl!
So i've been playing around with a couple of pictures, and then Porsche sent me another pic to edit.
Tell me your thoughts on it
I tried to fix the blur (only the far objects are blurry), and as Spark said i made the street lighting a lot smoother. And of course the headlights are pointing downwards
A lot better mate! I like it to much!
A little mistake imo, it's that the lights on the parking are to bright. Irl, there isnt only a bright pixel. Should be something smother.
Awesome work!
Thanks Boo!
I did it one pixel because if you blur the background, it kinda fits in
Very inspiring, here's my take on the night theme.
I had a little free time and practiced Photoshop
