I've seen it way too many times, and far too many accidents by it.

Sydney's Pit Lane needs the same kind of set up Aston does, spec if wrong way'd in, loss of trip if you re-enter pits from track the wrong way too, just like Aston.

I sound really bitchy, but it's really irritating getting hit by someoen who can't respect a basic rule.
I know what you mean.

I think there's a specific reason why it doesn't have auto-spec like the other tracks with 1 way pits, but I'm not sure. I think it should do, though. So I agree.
We can only have this feature on straight pitlanes (something to do with nodes IIRC).
Couldn't it have a 2-way pit lane somewhat like the one on Westhill?
Lanes are far to small for that Cola
Ive almost had head on collisions because of idiots who clearly don't stick to one way. Blasting into the pits the wrong way, reversing into the pits. You name it. Its nearly happened a few times over time.
As said above, a zone can only be one-way in a straight line. This means that a curved pitlane cannot be reliably made one-way.
The only kind of zone we have atm is a safe-zone. I have in the past requested another kind of zone that can be used for things like one-way restriction, which would allow us at least a limited ability to have enforced one-way sections at (or just before) the entrance/exits of curved pitlanes.
Well that could work, though I believe there are certain situations where this constraint could be counter-productive.
Like what exactly? Can't think of any.
Maybe if a tow needs to go forth and back.

That's not a problem on other tracks and if you're in a safezone you can pit without losing your KMs anyway (unless I've misunderstood your point)
If you get spec'ed for wrong way, you will lose your kms.
--Correction: Only when entering the pits--
How often does that happen? No problems on Montana, so I don't see why that should be a problem on Sydney all of a sudden.
It happens atleast twice everytime I'm on, next time I'm there I'll give you a replay
I was replying to Chuck's post, not yours. Should've quoted, sorry Smile
*facepalm*
