Nothing, but i suggest you to take Basic training, it helps ALOT and its fun to.

Time on the training depends, maybe an hour or two?.

'Basic training'? Does that involve training as a cop? Or do you mean just study how cops behave on the server and what they say?

As said, police training is not mandatory, however, it is recommended.

Anyway, instead of starting as a cop immediately after you have driven the required mileage, it is strongly recommended to read the >Tommer's Police Guide<, and re-read the >Cops section of the Server Rules<.

After that is done, you get the strobe program and a few skins and you should be ready to go.
