Little update on the CURPA, i got a forge induction kit a while ago as it was going cheap even though the long ducting has to be bent around the engine bay and I didnt feel any gain with it.[Image: FMINDBOC.jpg]

The 1.4tsi is in many diff cars so i ordered a 90degree bend from the sirrocco tsi kit and cut up the long ducting to use as a connector Smile Much more improvement and the sound is good too, can hear the turbo spooling and sucking more now.

BEFORE(standard induction)

AFTER(modified Forge induction)

Intake temps have been reduced by around 50% of previous and stay low even when giving it some when these cars after repeated runs would suffer from heat soak, specially at traffic lights after a few standing starts lol
Nice mod Mongoose, looks decent and well done Tongue
Cheers McGerkin. Old TC Bum has just bought a Seat ibiza FR (150bhp 1.4TSi with DSG box ect) since hes seen mine he wanted a vauxall VXCharveR but soon changed his mind after a few passenger rides in mine Smile

Its really nice doesnt feel 30bhp slower than mine it really flies as well. THe induction kit is going well and still love the sound of the car spooling up hehe

Next mod on the list for mine in the new year is a remap to around 210+bhp Will see easy sub 6 second 60's BiggrinBiggrin I did ask the GF to buy me it for Xmas but she is petrified of the car as it is so i dont think that will be under the tree this year.

Also just paid out for my years insurance. £749 with mods declared. About £100 cheaper than my fiesta would of been! Winner.

Jay
Oh crap i have forgot to pay my insurance for next year Ohmy Thanks Mongoose for talking about insurances Biggrin There goes 2500€ again Tongue
Ill try to take pics of TT next week if i get it running....
Haha I cant forget about mine they send me renewal forms and what not when its gets near the time.

I'm gettin 3-Series (fake?) M with 250HP

Not sure if it's real cause of the modifications the owner has done to it..

But if the car works good enough will get it for ~10000€ Tongue
M3 has 341bhp (or 340, depends if you have the blaatblaat 54 engine or the 52 one.). Out of a Inline 6 3.2l. The 2.8l engine has 250bhp.
That (arround?) '95 Honda looks awesome Ohmy
Let's spam this thread with Hondas then, shall we? (And yes, I know some plastic bits are missing, I got that covered.)

I would have taken a short video clip with it running too but it started raining just as I took that pic Laugh

Gravels work well in the snow Tongue Better than road tyres atleast lol. Not sure about winter tyres cos i've never tired them.

Spending some money on mine atm. Brakes & suspension.
New Disc rear beam (possibly polybushed too)
uprated front calipers and discs
uprgraded Master cylinder
uprated engine mount
possibly braided lines seeing everythings going to be off.
Strut brace
uprated rear dampers
Undecided on front suspension yet.

Currently have the rear beam, discs and calipers for front, strut brace, engine mount. Still need to buy the rest.

Oh and currently buying (waiting for a reply) a Stainless steel 4-2-1 & fitting new Idle control valve when I have some free time.
Finally got TT running and took few pics while was on test drive.

Ye its quite a blast to drive in winter, summer it different kind of fun when you get all the power to ground not just spining all 4 wheels Tongue example today i couldn't put my foot down before 5 gear and thats only whit 1.3bars of boost, next summer goal is to make tune for 1.7bars Biggrin

Thanks Ras =)
That interior has got some mods so stock it aint.
Only real TT enthusiast will spot all mods that have been done to all around car. I have spend now about 8k€ for modding it and i aint finished yet Biggrin Still need to mount FMIC and alcohol injection before summer...
