Wtf? How did you get it revoked for that? I was nabbed for speeding and I only had to retake my tests in order to get it back.
Ye i retook it 3 times now, but now i have to wait 6 months to retake
How many kms above the limit does it take for having to "re-take" your test? Never got a ticket in Sweden and been driving for 2 years soon and i mostly lay around 20-30km/h over the limit on the bigger roads (not in the city/around schools etc.)
Leaving our big car show yesterday. Once I fix the bumper, I'll be back at 100%!
My buddy's&w MkII VR6 and my MkI

I drive 78 in 50 zone
Damn, that's the worst one.. Need to be such a small amount over the limit, and they'll give you a massive fine.
Cola Swedens Law is Hard here on road
Well, if you drive 20kph over the limit you get a ticket for sure in finland. 30kph over and you have had to re-take the driver test 3 times you would end up getting revoked in finland too.
My cousin had his licence revoked for a year and just got it back (all for speeding..), and he said the next time he gets caught for speeding (probably needs to be 20-40kph over depending on the officer..) his licence will be drying for 7 years.
Sounds pretty harsh but he must've been getting quite big speeding fines.. (Chipped 2010 Merc C32, Suzuki Hayabusa)
And then again, my classmate got a fine of 128€ for his first offence, 127~ kph on 100 area.
Doing almost 30kph over the speed limit is not a small amount by any means. It's correct to take people's licenses away if they can't obey the rules.
(And before someone asks, yes, I sometimes drive over the speed limits but only on highways where the regular limit is 120. I might do 130-140 there. )

Let's face it though. Not all city roads are actually needing a 50 kph limit. I can find tonnes of places with no houses, no important signs or markings, nor other stuff that could become dangerous, where the limit still is only 50 kph, where it could be at least 70..

This may vary from country to country and area to area, but I have rarely seen roads that would benefit from a higher speed limit. In fact I know a lot more roads that need a lower limit than what they currently have, rather than roads that need their limits raised.
For example the street where my dad lives has a 50 or 60 limit (I can't remember for sure since it was already changed once) and I can't get myself to go over 45 there because there are a lot of spots where visibility to the sides is poor and there is a potential risk of getting in a head on collision with a horse, child, lorry, BMW doing 150kph, wildlife, people etc...
The only time when you need to drive faster than you legally can is when you're in a hurry, and that is self induced by not leaving enough leeway in your schedule. Google Maps is great for estimating the time needed for a trip, if the area is unfamiliar.
Houston, we have a problem.
I don't have no... Cupholder!
At least you can add one lol. Sonetts and Rabbits came without consoles!

Meh don't need one and don't want to add one. The thing in it now, does its job as coin-holder, and cups can easily fit in the arm rest.
If I'd ever drink or eat something in the car. lol
Micra is still alive. Somehow.
Even more miraculously, so is the Land Rover. It even accidentally found some friends and posed with them in a car park.
God I love those Land Rovers.
Well since both of my last mk1s were pieces and didn't run I decided to spend a bit more and buy a running one. Once I have the cash I'm picking this up.

Those logs behind the Micra would make a nice ramp...
