I love it too. Quite the opposite to crashing it, I've just fitted a new CV joint. Roll on the next 78k miles!
@AJ
You're going to lower it, right?
Wouldn't 16s with low profile tires look a tad better then?
Or have I mistaken something?

16" would be goddamn massive. The stock wheels are 13" after all. The BBS's in the pic are 15" and they will be alright (close to stock overall diameter) with 40 or 45 profile tires.

And yes, I would like to lower it. I'm not sure how the front is lowerable though since it has torsion bar springs?
Quick Google search brought me to this:

Should be possible, don't know how low you can go, though.
Yeah I have the Honda dealership repair manual for the car. But lowering is like the lowest priority at this moment.

13" and slam it? Tongue

Fixed. Thumbup
Dealer manuals are the best. But sometimes Haynes or Bentley(different company from the car company lol) manuals have more info and bolt sizes/locations
Took this during the holidays, space was kinda tight, so I didn't get it completely on the picture x)

'94 Honda RVF400. Picked it up maybe 6 weeks ago. Didn't start, been busy fixing it and replacing things ever since. Brings the term "Money pit" to a whole new level. The bike is a grey import (never officially imported by Honda), so parts are a mission to find. Was running well up until last week when it decided to start melting it's regulator rectifier. Ordered a new 1, should be here next week, will replace a few more things on it then sell it. Don't think I'll make a profit, but should break-even, i hope. Smile Absolutely awesome bike, single sided swingarm too, probably the main reason I bought it, looks sexy as. Will get some better pictures soon when it's back together again.
That looks so nice.
For a 20 year old bike, it looks awesome. This thing turns heads everywhere I go. V4 cam driven engine, got that gear whine sound. Will get a quick video some time when its fixed, again lol.
Done so much to it,
New radiators, silicone hoses.
New discs, braided lines front and rear.
New SD-R levers.
Carbies been cleaned out and and all seals been replaced. Resynched
Got a new front and rear sprocket and X-ring chain to be put on.
New $500 Werx muffler.
Rear shock been replaced with 1 from a BMW S1000RR.
Few other bits and pieces. Got a nice box of spare parts with the bike too. Could go on forever, but i doubt theres many people here that interested, lol.
Just get us a video Chris! Bike looks absolutely amazing.
Awesome looking bike!
Thanks for the comments Smile

Will get more pics and a video or 2 when i get some free time.
Very tidy example of a 20 year old bike, dude.
Makes me want to clean mine again. It's currently being punished behind my house by the brutally chilling winds of Scottish winter.
Need to give it a start. I have a broken throttle body cable for the secondaries so I only get 0-7,000rpm, no access to 7,500rpm-14,000rpm, which we all know is where the fun's at, but at least it can run. Also, my tail lights have completely given up too so will be needing replaced.
Front brake is binding a bit so needs a little TLC there too. Need to get this attended too before the end of spring. I plan to ride a couple thousand miles this year.
Chris, isn't it the V4's that almost sound kinda V8'ish at the lower revs? Also I love that whine sound that most older bikes have. CB 400 four has an amazing sound as well.

Hmmm Viper, how come I've never seen any pictures of your bike? Ohmy
That looks great. Tbh. I'm not so much into the designing of the gixxers, but yours look really really nice. Smile
Also I think you could make like 4 tires for my bike, out of the wide rear one on yours, lol.
It's the bike I wanted since I was little, a yellow and black GSX-R 750. A couple grand and BAM, dream bike achieved. Smile
Had her nearly 4 years now.

*Edit. If one had to look closely enough you can see how far I've scrubbed in the tyres through leaning. I feel, any further, is Marc Marquez territory, lol.

*Edit 2. A few pics of my 1st road bike.
