Well the mk7 is awaiting it's tune tomorrow I finally got around to fixing the rabbits hard start. Also put on some plastic euro bumpers.
Can't wait to put the cups back on. These are nice and all but I just love the cups(lug bolts were trashed from a shop using an impact. Morons.
Yeah and worst of all they are ball seat 12x1.5 which is the least commonly produced lug bolt ever haha. I have tons of cone seat but no ball. Waiting on the new ones to arrive

I had to order a set of ball seat 12x1.5 for my Escort's winter tires as well, but my dad botched the order and they came in with a ridiculously long thread. Had to saw like 3cm off every single one
Jimmy i did like that youtube video you sent me of the turbo sound, even know I'M not the biggest Volvo fan except for the engine they put in the Ford Focus RS and ST (MARK 2) Not bad lol.
Does it please the court?
That's 100x better than with rims. Nice Golf.
I think it needs about 15mm of spacing in the rear. They look so much better than the steelies. They are 18x7.5 or 18x8 Volkswagen Detroits off of my friends 2008 GTI haha
Also installed coilovers with my friend on his Evo VIII
Sudden black ice that looks like just a wet tarmac can be a real pain in your asshole.
And yes, im perfectly fine.
Glad you're okay, is the damage on your scooter just cosmetic? I fell on my bike back in 2013 because of slippery stuff in a corner. It really does take its toll on your pride. Only thing I can say is get back up on it and keep riding
Only cosmetic yeah, there was snow on the ditch i fell into with the scooter, so it did save ALOT of the possible damage to the scooter and myself, but im to blame for the accident to be honest, as the rear tyre is absolutely slick.
The current costs for fixing it are 41€ for a new Left mirror and Indicator cover for the left side.
Also, i decided not to ride it until i have a new rear tyre in it, which will cost about 70-80€ depending on what tyre is available that still is the same look as the front tyre (as i dont want to spend extra money changing both of the tyres to new ones that are different type.)
The only damages on me are just a couple of scratches in my knees and legs, otherwise nothing worse happened.
But yeah, only cosmetic damage, and a small dent in my pride of driving 2 wheels that has a engine in it.
Also, just a random fact, when i crashed, there was a car passing me when i lifted the scooter from the ditch, and he didnt even stop and ask me if i was ok...
I had same with my 125cc. Rear wheel started spinning and suddenly gained traction and i lost control, i used front brakes as my rear wasn't working properly (yes i'm stupid for not fixing it..) and did flip over the steering wheel :/ The bike also almost fell over me but idk how but i managed to kick it to fall in another way. Thank god i fell in to grass so nothing was broken. Nobody even stopped to look if i was fine even thought i was laying down for like minute (maybe??) and i could hear cars passing by. Nothing big broke from bike neither
2nd time was in spring, i had checked last evening that all the gravel is cleaned from roads but some had appeared during night. I left in the morning and in downhill my front wheel lost traction when i touched the brakes a bit and fell over, slided about 5m on asphalt and bike about 10. Nothing happened but bike got scratches. Insurance company paid me 1k and i got to keep the bike, which i paid 1k for
Took me some time before i had enough courage to drive it again, as the first thing happened in autumn just at the end of driving season and second one happened when driving season was about to start :/
2 wheelers are dangerous but still so so so much fun. Even the ~30hp in 130kg bike got smile in my face
Finnish people = No help at crashsites
Also, more photos of the damages that it got (in spoiler, for those who want to see more detailed photos of them)
Scratches are an easy fix with some paint and sanding, but im not going to start trying to search new covers that are the correct colour, i might use some Plastic padding for the front and rear, or just fix the rear cover damage with two holes and a ziptie.
Not to sound like an insensitive jerk, but it's just a scooter. As long as you didn't get seriously hurt and survived etc that's all that matters
Thanks Orange,
Gopro test pic again looks pretty good with it, might changing to turbo alloys next week

A 600€ scooter, that is my only form of transportation for long distances without taking a lift, to be exact, so its not "just a scooter".
But whatever, try to find one in the same condition as it was in finland, with 2000kms when bought, you just simply cant.
Also, since when cant the owner of something feel something towards the thing thats broken, and share it?

I thought about saying the same, but then I imagined someone denting my car and saying "it's just a car, as long as you didn't get seriously hurt that's all that matters" I would **** them up (that's not even an exaggeration, one of the few things that make me absolutely lose my noodle)
So what I'm going to say instead is I hope you can mend it enough so that you're happy with it again. Luckily scooter parts are not super expensive.

Yeah, im lucky thst its only cosmetic damage that it got, so its cheap, it would be way expensive if i were to buy new covers for the left side, but im fine with a couple of zipties, tape and paint, to cover most of the damage, and make it a bit more roadworthy.
(Currently the gray part thats cracked , is hanging on by one bolt that is rounded, and is loose, i really.sont want to risk it falling of and possibly break something or cause a possible danger to a car for example coming behind.)
also, due to really limited budget, i have to do a cheap fix.
