My comment never posted about your MkVI or MkII haha both look really sweet. I prefer the VR5 myself but we only ever received the 2.5 in the U.S. in the MkV and MkVI.

Interested to see how you like the Nissan EV we have those vans freaking everywhere and I find them to be much uglier that the Ford Transit Connect but supposedly creature comfort is 10x better
I am not officially a part of the VW club.. Got a new 2003 Caddy yesterday. It has only done 135.000km/217.479miles and i got it for 15.000NOK/1786EUR/1298GBP/2005USD and that is not really that bad. There is some rust spots, and i have to take the fuse out to make the wipers stop, but other than that, it is nice! One bad side is that i had to drive 560km/347miles one way to get it, but it is a really nice ride! >Map<

Took away last muffler today it aint loud at all its only "patters" when rpm drops down vid coming soon when its better weather Biggrin
Zip-ties to hold a hot muffler? Not really it will hold up real good.
You might want to invest in a better muffler instead of chopping it and "making it look legit".
Zip ties on a exhaust, lose exhaust next to the spring . What do you learn on that school?
Just replace the last bit with a straight pipe and put it on properly.
probaly gonna take it off and other behind soon, so it will sound more
Take it off.. itll fall off, do it properly or dont waste your time
Yeah, do it properly or dont do it at all, all i have to say.

Just imagine when youre driving at 80kmh on a highway and that thing falls off, it wont be a nice sight when it bounces off the ground to a car behind, or if a car hits it.

The proper way to do it would be to install a better muffler. Plenty of more "loud" options exists instead of driving straight-pipe. Its bad for the environment and AFAIK its not a racecar Wink

Its your car Jimmy, you do what you want with it. Don't mind our conversation Tongue
I dont but fun to se what other people like write or that stuff, later the car will be chipped at some point Thumbup1

Your carbon output will be the same with or without a muffler. A muffler muffles it doesn't add some magical chemical to magically make you output better haha. Straight pipes just make things louder and you will typically hear more turbo noises, but on the downside some turbos require back pressure to prevent turbo chatter which breaks turbos.
Straight pipes save lives.
