GT86/BRZ?
Sounds familiar.
Spent the majority of my day yesterday cleaning and polishing the civic to a mirror finish. It was in need of a good polish aha.

You are surprisingly far off, but I think the audio quality doesn't really do any justice there...
So umm.. someone was bored and decided to fix my leaky exhaust:
Works like a dream again, after 300€ spent on parts that is.
Yes, its dirty, and yes, ill wash it when the damn rain clouds wont appear.
And yes, i need to get an alignment done.
Too bad I didn't take more pictures yet, so this is the only one.
Yet another blue sedan... This time with more power
It has been my "affordable dream car" since evo 7 came out... I still can't handle the fact I own this now
Uploaded to hostr so should be good now..
My god thats beautiful Roba, really jealous

Yes. Although under the body it's now kind of a mashup of different Opels/Vauxhalls...
Brand new headlights (can't see in the previous picture that the drivers side was completely broken) and took the silly Opel badge off the car...
Here's a photo of the engine.

I bet that thing sounds bitchin' when you open up on it. Why not XE instead of NE, though?

Because of our laws. Some trickery was already used; when swapping an engine it can only be 25% larger than the biggest original factory engine, and 20% more powerful than the most powerful factory engine.
So that is the GSi Corsa at 1598cc and 74kw.
This allows for an engine with max. 1997.5cc and 88.8kw.
The engine size is scraping it at 1998cc, but inspection officers were lenient enough to let that 0.5 pass.
The power of the stock 20NE is 87kw, which fits nicely, but not much room for more.
(20NE and 20SEH blocks are identical, but because of the different pistons and other thingamajigs it makes 97kw which goes over the limit, so a 20NE block was used to hide the fact while still retaining the high compression.)
The 20XE flies way past at 115kw and can't be made to even look legal due to the DOHC head.
Interesting laws, good explanation. All I care about are the Cups though haha. Nice rides on this page!
