Took the car to the drags just over a week ago, didn't really change anything, just better shifts and maybe a slightly better launch. managed to get a 13.7 with 165kw at the wheels, it'll be interesting to see what times I get with a 2005 spec c block and a blouch dominator 1.5XT-R 7cm
Holy crap whatever was in the left lane was quick!
You're faster off the line than I am (must be that all wheel drive) but I beat you to the line by less than a half a second in the golf! Nice run! Try to launch about 200 rpm less.
Jimmy the iPad idea is great, I've wanted to myself. The hardest part is integration. You still need an amp behind it to drive nice speakers etc. There are some android alternatives out there that have this built in. Go for it!
I got all my brakes finally done on the cabrio and am ready for a huge show tomorrow! Can't wait! It drives like a new car! Will post pics in a bit!

The bigger problem is probably how to operate the heater levers if there's an iPad in front of them.

The iPad would have to go way lower, all the way to the bottom of the center console and right behind the gear lever. Useability 0/5
Nah problems, he would just control them through iPad - like in Tesla.
Would it be possible to relocate the heather controls all the way to the bottom? It's not like we move the levers all the time, they can be in front of the shifter without any issues.

The controls are operated via traditional levers, so in theory it would be possible, but it would need quite a bit of engineering
Well I got the bolts for the rabbit finally and both cars in the garage! Blew the exhaust manifold on the cabby on my way to a car show. But everything is going great!
